By accessing and using Frimarket ("the Platform", "we", "us", "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the Platform following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.
To use Frimarket, you must:
Frimarket operates as a prediction market platform where users can trade on the outcomes of future events. This is not gambling, but rather a market-based forecasting mechanism.
We do not guarantee profits or specific outcomes. All trading involves risk, and you may lose the money you invest. Past performance does not indicate future results.
Markets are resolved based on verifiable, objective outcomes. Our admin team makes final determinations on market outcomes using credible sources and established criteria.
We charge a 3% fee on all trades. This fee is added to your trade amount and is non-refundable.
When markets are resolved, we retain 10% of losing bets as a platform commission. The remaining 90% is distributed proportionally to winning traders.
We offer two deposit methods:
All transactions are processed in Kenyan Shillings (KES). Display prices in other currencies are for convenience only and are converted at the time of display.
You agree NOT to:
Users may submit markets for admin approval. By submitting a market, you grant us the right to publish and operate that market on the Platform.
We reserve the right to reject any market submission for any reason, including but not limited to:
We may edit market titles, descriptions, or end dates for clarity or accuracy before approval.
If you disagree with a market resolution, you may submit a dispute within 7 days of resolution. Include evidence supporting your position. Our decision on disputes is final.
Report any transaction errors within 30 days. We will investigate and resolve legitimate issues but cannot reverse completed trades.
All content on Frimarket, including logos, designs, text, graphics, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to such processing and warrant that all data provided is accurate.
We implement security measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Frimarket, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
You may close your account at any time by contacting support. You must withdraw all funds before closure.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:
Upon termination, you forfeit any pending trades and may forfeit your balance if termination is due to violations.
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kenya, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
We are not liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, network infrastructure failures, strikes, or shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
